| The rebuilding of Maggie's balky fuel pump, with a couple of onlookers was Tuesday. Then I checked out John Twist's rolling tech session. I found Lynn Twist was feeling ill (it was warm and humid) so John asked me to take over the note taking. John went hours beyond his 3 PM stopping time. Unfortunately, without breakfast or lunch, and wanting to be with our MN MG Group for dinner, I bailed at 4 PM. In the process I disassembled (or John did, not sure which) Zelda Davis' distributor as it had no advance and reassembled it working. John then reset the timing. This is just one example of the work he does on the dozens of cars rolling through, all as he delivers a non-stop commentary on colors, mechanical and electrical systems, and repairs. |
